Why sign on? Find out why here ...
Living sustainably is important if we are to protect
and nourish the Earth’s limited natural resources for the enjoyment of
all now and into the future. Signing on to the website allows you to
become part of a global community of change to leave a smaller
footprint on the Earth. Everyone can make a difference by committing to
a few small actions. Together these add up to creating world change.
So do your bit for the planet.

At
a practical level the Up2me Schools Environment Challenge website
provides teachers and students with exciting, innovative ideas and
activities to make their schools, classrooms and personal lifestyles
more sustainable. It asks teachers and students to sign on to two
challenges from six options: reduce waste, reduce energy use, increase
biodiversity, reduce car use, increase gardening and reduce water use.
Schools, teachers and students who participate in the challenge will
receive practical, readily usable information and activities relevant
to the challenges they choose.
