Up2me for kids at school encourages students, teachers and school communities to live more sustainably by reducing waste, water, energy ...

Up2me for kids at school encourages students, teachers and school communities to live more sustainably by reducing waste, water, energy and private transport and improving biodiversity and gardening activities. This means that you can monitor your impacts as a school and classroom and make steps towards leaving a smaller ecological footprint on the Earth (Find out more about your Ecological footprint at http://www.myfootprint.org/). The target age group for this web site is Grades 5 to 8.

By signing on, you will be doing your bit for the planet along with dozens of other teachers. The website will support you with information, incentives, case studies from other schools and current news on sustainable schools. So take the challenge and sign on now! If you'd like to share your Environment Challenge stories, please email them with photos to helen@sustainablelivingtasmania.org.au.
